We will use this post and its comment thread for some needed reminders or clarifications. They will probably get reposted to Site Comments. If you have comments or responses to these, feel free to use either of those threads for replies. Thanks
We’re trying to promote the understanding of LOL and OY collection posts that they are reader-driven ideally. And apart from correcting duplications or filtering the not-safe-for-family, the editors are not going to be judgey about whether we think a sent-in comic is really funny or not, really a good wordplay or not. It’s more like anything-goes.
So, everyone’s looking at their phones, but …?

How did she make that happen?

Okay, it has been explained to me. Hence, marked “CIDU-solved”.
But it’s already scheduled, and rather than scurry to replace it let’s give some eager cidu-beaver the opportunity to jump in and say “Well clearly, ….”
Nice variant on the classic “desert crawler” comic meme.

From librarian(s) comes this one. What subjects (or high school activities) did you find surprisingly useful in later life?

A blatant case of obnoxious literalism

A very touching moment; especially since, in the Harry Bliss world, it’s likely that the dog understands this well, and is pleased to have this news shared with him.
So it’s easy to understand: a sentimental interaction. But how do we understand this as a comic? Is there any sort of joke, or comedy, or humor (apart from calling positive toned emotions “a good humor”)? As our category asks, Is that all there is?

Realistically, he would not have so simply found a vet who would go along with this. It still is a bit of a shocker!
It looks like we only have part of a caption here. Can you finish it?

Well, it’s a double-entendre, so it qualifies, but not at all subtle. The next strip shows LuAnn has chosen a different title, which helps a little.

Earlier, LuAnn did tell Tara that Brad is married, but we didn’t see her disavowing any idea of flirting. Where is this leading? Do we trust Brad?
