Oh oh oh, I’ve found it!

The mirror is sketched oddly and had me thinking for a second it was a cleaver! But thankfully, no!

Well, there’s a good OY on the left, and a good LOL on the right, and I’m feeling too lazy to get out the cropper, so let’s print it twice, once today, and once yesterday or tomorrow.

Not a huge LOL, but Tiger and Punkinhead here are reproducing a classic problem in the literature of logical representation, going back to Bertrand Russell.

An Arlo-LOL from Divad who says “I’ve got a pretty good guess what was on Arlo’s mind (in general), but I’m trying to not picture what he’s specifically thinking.”

“Zzz-mailing” makes it worth it…

P.S. This Zippy has in the meantime received the Arnold Zwicky professional treatment.
P.P.S. Here’s that word ‘serf’ again:

I just like this, more than I can defend.

A photo-OY, from Facebook group “Daily Pun”

I trust even the non-geezers will recognize “feghoot” as a term for a story that ends with an Oy as the punch. Is it a dig at PBS to point out it often uses feghoots?

Double dose of Loose Parts.

It’s been a long time since I saw The Bride Wore Black (La mariée était en noir).

Is there any truth to the “Hint”? And if it were so, would that give the first sentence a logical reading, in some meaning other than the straightforward one (as used in the film), of the bridegroom dying (being killed) following the marriage ceremony?

The last few weeks I’ve felt that Wrong Hands has been a bit off their best form. But this one seems a good case of returning to their former standard.
So here is another Wrong Hands, sent in by Philip, who notes that as an Oy it would be tripartite. (Have we seen this one before?)

I have never sat down on a cat …. that did not immediately make the situation known! :-)

(Also adding in another Condron as he was unfamiliar to me.)

We were calling this a CIDU briefly while trying to understand why it was a Summer Concert but the bands were not notably summer foods. But then quashed the question on the basis that summer is just when there are lots of concerts and particularly the big outdoor festivals.
Jenny also sent this in, and considered it sort of a CIDU, asking “Why is meatloaf on the list, along with the veggies?”.

From Jenny:
