Not really an OY, not really LOL, and not a synchronicity, but this week evil squirrels have had their day in the comics.
One of my neighbors feeds the squirrels, and will come out and chase hawks away to protect her precious squirrels — at the same time I’d hired an animal control firm to get rid of the ones that have found their way into the condo’s attic. Cute or vermin? As the realtors say, “Location, Location, Location”.
Usual John sends this in: “Is Lio batting darts at a dartboard with a badminton racket? If so, why? Is it relevant that his darts skew to the left?”
Okey-doke, an accents joke. Or a pronunciations joke. Why not?

Still there is some unclarity to the customer’s identity, and why they would order this outfit.

Continuing the metaphor: orange traffic cones are like the Legos strewn around the floor for the enjoyment of our feet. Potholes are teenage acne. Tickets are tuition bills.

How many of us have a pile of unread books? How long as the oldest unread one been in that pile? When was the last time you thinned out the pile, by saying “Nah, not going to ever read that?” Did you regift the book, and later found it sitting in THEIR unread books pile?
How to you label it? “Books I’ll read when I retire”? or “Books to read when I can’t sleep”?

Or that scene has been replayed / imitated / parodied so much that it could be well known even among those who have never seen any more of the movie it comes from.
