Pavlov? Pavlov? Do I know a Pavlov? That name rings a bell.

The artist looks like “Curnow”, but I can’t tell for sure.

Their TV series is “As the World Churns”

This was a complete CIDU for me until I read the comments on the web:

I’ll let the hive-mind see what y’all think. No cheating! (But it’s at https://www.gocomics.com/theargylesweater/2025/07/27 to save you the trouble if, like me, you give up.)
From Boise Ed:

He adds,
The Fabio/goose one is a total CIDU for me; AFAIK, Fabio was an Olympic skier and ladies’ man, several decades ago. The Will Smith one, I assume, has to do with that Oscars incident a while back. The other three I can guess at.
The New Yorker has a feature called Laugh Lines. The challenge there is to place several cartoons in chronological order. We’re going to play a version of this with pairs of cartoons that appear in the CIDU archives. Each pair will be from the same comic, so style will be a clue. The link with the letter points to the original posting here at CIDU. The years aren’t that far apart, because they only go back to when Bill had to restart the site. I’ve added a couple at the end that aren’t from the CIDU archives and are farther apart.

Danny Boy sends this in: “Not entirely true of *this* Danny”.

Prem sends this in: “I get that Medusa just entered behind the guy. What’s the connection with fajitas? Are the snakes hissing as though the fajitas are sizzling?”

More Medusa! (not a CIDU)
