Not confusing enough to be a CIDU, but a couple of questions. There’s the English expression “Too many cooks spoil the broth”, which makes sense because you can mess up a broth or soup by messing up the seasoning (Italian herbs make a good soup; Indian spicing makes a good soup; adding both does not make a good soup). But toast?

Second, there’s 23. That’s probably just a random number pick here, but even the most casual fan recognizes 23 as Michael Jordan’s and LeBron James’s number: undeniably two of the greatest basketball players ever.

Pete sent this in. It’s also a bit of a CIDU, since wouldn’t knights in armor have metal plate on the bottom of their feet?

And here’s one sent in by Usual John, a bit more of a comic scene-rendering than a gag LOL:

In particular, local rules can cause problems. In the card game Hearts, does the jack of diamonds mean anything special? Can you dump on the first trick? In Monopoly, do you complain that the game takes too long, but put $500 on Free Parking, and allow houses to be turned in for full value? In poker, is the worst low hand A-2-3-4-6 or 2-3-4-5-7? Complain about your favorite example of local rules in the comments.

The question being: Is the guy just pushing his point by selecting a random term meant to be absurd, or else do they maybe have something (like a remote, or an ashtray, …) which is actually crafted to look like a Stegosaurus?

Why not start off Sunday with a bit of math? Roughly how old is she?
