Alas, Gesundheit! is no longer eligible for points; so it’s Death 18, #TeamPinocchio 7

I still don’t understand why you didn’t leave “Gesundheit!” in the game. Death is winning hands down against three opponents, it’s not like a gang of four is going to be able to turn the tide.
These were LOL’s for me, especially the first one. Imagine the joy of coming home to a surprise party only to have it turn to being mortified.
Kilby, I’ll know better in my next life.
@ Bill – That’s not “Death“, that’s “Reincarnation“. 😉
Isn’t that a prerequisite?
@ Bill – Ooops.
Today I saw a girl wearing a T-shirt with the Grim Reaper on it, along with a slogan “Death is always near” or some such, along with some sort of acronym on the front.
The caption for the Death Valley cartoon seems unnecessary. It would work just as well without it, maybe even better.
@ Jerry – I’m not so sure: without the caption it would just be a ho-hum conflation of “Deaths in Death Valley”. I think showing that they are riotously happy to be there adds something to the comic, and since it would be nearly impossible to draw them with a pleasant, happy grin, I think the caption is an adequate solution.
