B.A.: Is “deconstructed food” a thing? This seems to want to be an “artisanal food” joke, or better yet “Ordering a BLT at the restaurant in Ikea.”
Yet another Pinata comic and yet another Death comic.
The pinata comic gets the LOL tag; the Death comic, not so much.
Based on what I’ve seen this morning, by the way, October 15 is apparently the official start of this year’s Halloween Comic Strips Season.

There’s a New Serif in Town
Okay, basically he’s saying he might as well not have bothered wearing a shirt and shoes because the rule here isn’t “No shirt, no shoes, no service,” but rather “No serif, no service.”
But… is “serif” supposed to sound like “shirt”? I seem not to be getting what makes this an actual joke.
I kind of sort of know where he’s going or trying to go with this, but…

I have a fairly good guess, but it’s not clear why the Joker is calling Batman that.
