Is this song still well-known enough to transcend the Geezer tag?
(And let’s not even discuss how disconcerting it is that anything from 1984 can qualify for the Geezer tag)

I was listening to a podcast (Freakonomics, if anybody’s curious) about the Cold War; and when somebody mentioned Khrushchev the host cut in, for the audience’s benefit, with “That’s Nikita Khrushchev, the leader of the Soviet Union during the Cold War.”
Does anybody, particularly somebody listening to a podcast about the Cold War, need to have Khrushchev identified? Is it all that far out of the collective consciousness?

And just for the heck of it…
Does anybody know of a good place to park domains (I also need to buy one or two more)? I’d really like to get them away from GoDaddy, but it seems as if transferring domains is no less complicated than it was twenty-odd years ago. Which is ridiculous.
So I’m looking for someplace that makes it really, really simple.
Unfortunately, comicsidontunderstand.com itself will probably have to stay with GoDaddy, because I have a feeling moving the domain name elsewhere and trying to keep it directing to godaddyandthesquirrelmustbothdie.wordpress.com will just lead to Comicgeddon 2.
Thanks.

I have no idea why; but I’ve released all the prisoners.

Based on the VCR, he’s been complaining about this for quite a while.
But… why shouldn’t he be paying to see it (for a second time? that’s not really clear, but really irrelevant)?

One of the most annoying varieties of would-be pedants is the one who gratuitously replaces “who” with “whom,” or “me” with “I,” thinking it makes them sound smarter.

Is this a thing? I thought my little brother was the only kid who wanted to be a firetruck (not a firefighter, but a firetruck).
