I think Shannon’s family is the one that lived next to old Mrs. Wilson, and being concerned about her, would check up on her from time to time to see how she was doing. So: “Shannon, run next door and see how old Mrs. Wilson is.” Shannon, on returning: “Mrs. Wilson says it’s none of your business how old she is.”
