Ray was in prism for a violet crime. He robbed a convenience store. Went in and said “Yellow, orange you gonna give me all your money?” Unfortunately, the clerk wasn’t a green, so the purp blue him away, then split the scene. During his arrest, the cops red him his lights, right before they told him “indigo to jail”.

The rainbow is going the wrong way in the last strip. It needs to be bent more downward than the light inside the prism.
