This is my first time commenting on art on CIDU. In the Rhymes with Orange strip, my mind saw Little Red Riding Hood as her grandmother; she looked old enough, and sitting, she’s taller than Goldilocks. The impression was so strong that I had a hard time figuring out the scene despite the clear outfits on the characters. (My thoughts progressed with “is this the seduction of grandma? But he’s already dressed as grandma. … Oh, she’s Red Riding Hood,… and Goldilocks. Oh..”)
