I don’t think I’ve ever thought about this before now, but…
I’m pretty sure I haven’t heard people referring to the emergency phone number as 9-11 since, you know, 9/11: always 9-1-1 now.

Why would a photo of Lassie attract them, even if they knew Lassie was actually played by a series of Laddies?
Seems to me it would make more sense for him to use a photo of Rin Tin Tin — or even Scooby Doo.
