Has anybody else gotten the sense that…
… the are a lot more Groundhog-related comics today than we usually see on February 2?
Could be my imagination, of course, or maybe the strips I follow just happen to be more groundhogcentric.
Because a bus, with apparently no other traffic on the road, generally moves slower than an average person walks??

Pardon My Newspaper
Okay, this is already borderline Geezer material: the likelihood that this kid will ever buy a newspaper as an adult is fairly remote.
My kids are already about twenty years older than this kid seems to be, and I doubt either one of them has read a pulp-and-ink newspaper in years.
Because he’s going to kill a bunch of snails??
Just for the record… I’ve abandoned the Death Watch, because I think it’s been well-established by now that Death shows up on the comics page more often than Marvin references his bodily functions.
That won’t keep him from appearing for cause, of course, as in this CIDU.
