Is Strange Brew going into reruns? Or have they always been reruns, but I’ve just come to the end and now the beginning? This one and today’s, I know I’ve seen before. Asking for a friend.

Speaking of reruns, that “Reality Check” appeared in a “Synchronicitoad” post in 2019. I don’t follow squirrelly comics, so when this one seemed familiar, I knew I must have seen it at CIDU before.
You’re seeing some oldies in part because I’ve been decluttering some old file storage, and some cartoons that struck me as worth squirrelling away back then also currently struck me as worth sharing again.
@ Mitch – There’s nothing wrong in re-posting a good comic (we all enjoy reading quality material), but I still think it’s a good idea to include a link to the original appearance, so that the CIDU community doesn’t need to repeat a discussion and analysis that was already done before.

Kilby, I was very brief in mentioning what I had been doing with these oldies, so I can’t blame you for misunderstanding. I wasn’t reviewing old CIDU posts, I was just sorting thru old private file storage, and finding some cartoons which at some past moment I had felt like saving. A few of them made me say “This would be worth sharing to CIDU!” and I popped them into currently open LOL or maybe OY lists. (Then started some lists of just these.) So there was not organically a clear link to previous CIDU appearance; and wouldn’t be without some research — which in this case you kindly provided!
@ Mitch – I already suspected that those comics were coming from a private archive, but decided that it didn’t matter. I figured a reference to the previous appearance will reduce the potential for confusion and solve the “deja vu” moments for multiple readers. Please do continue to share the ones you think are worth it, and if one of them continues happens to produce a “been there, done that” impression, then I will dig up the corresponding reference.
