    @Treesong, think of how halftone shading looks when blown up for, ahem, high art purposes. Speaking of art, I don’t know if the figure from The Scream is considered a ghost.

    The comic strip ghost is a direct reference to Peanuts. I believe it was Charlie Brown’s attempt at a ghost costume.

    I believe the Charlie Brown costume was only in the cartoon (“I got a rock), not the strip.

    I do love the ” types of ghosts” collection. Any one of them would merit a mere chuckle, but the set is LOL.

    The one I liked most in the “types of ghost” was the dating one — I fairly recently learned that just not showing up any more can be called ghosting. So he drew an absence.

    That’s a reference to the Charlie Brown reference as those other masks are from the same Charlie Brown Halloween special.
