Only guy in the room, explaining what “we” know, is probably not the guy who’s going to know anything useful since he’s clearly clueless. (But maybe he’s just practicing his presentation in an empty conference room, which would not be funny, so I’m going with the first idea.)
Would have been better with a line like “Here we see attendance at the weekly meetings has been falling off when I forget to schedule them” or something.
