In 3-D video games, clipping is what makes things bump into each other instead of passing through like ghosts. “Noclip” is a common term for a cheat code to turn it off. Activating noclip on the killer asteroid would make it phase right through the Earth.
Since they have cheat codes, the mouseover text suggests another option but it’s a terrible idea. We have no idea if the asteroid’s damage is calculated by mass or hard-coded.
