This worked for Jeremy’s older brother Chad, who hasn’t had an on-panel appearance since 2006 (although occasionally mentioned). I think Chad is in the Marines, though.

Long long ago, the Comp Sci department (where later on I was a member of a techstaff of 2.5 fte professionals and some half-dozen 10-hr students) had a single professional as the technical staff, named Bob Lord.
When questions were posed like “When will that new batch of workstations be installed?” the standard answer was LORD ONLY KNOWS.
The mermaid one is pretty close to factual, if the assumption that reported mermaids were really manatees/dugongs are correct. Those guys had definitely been at sea too long!
