These must have been the frogs used to fill out that Jurassic Park DNA.
Post hoc, ergo propter hoc.
The three theological virtues.
It’s February 1st, whether we like it or not.

Not sure I understand the joke in the frog cartoon. Just, “Hey, big frogs in dinosaur times” and that’s the joke? Or is snagging a pterodactyl supposed to be funny? Seems like less of a comic and more of an absent-minded doodle.
In any case it doesn’t hold a candle to the beelzebufo, a real prehistoric giant frog that ate dinosaurs. It wasn’t that large but actually existed and had an awesome name (“devil lizard”).
Andrew, I agree it’s weak. The idea of a frog big enough to snag a pterodactyl is almost funny.
Large frogs like bullfrogs and cane toads can and do eat small birds like finches and sparrows.
Pterosaurs of the genus Pterodactylus were rather small. About one meter wingspan, but roughly the body size of a pigeon.
So large, extinct frogs, like Beelzebufo COULD have eaten pterodactyls, if they lived at the same times.
The picture, however, shows the Megasaurus amphibus catching a Pteranodon. Pteranodons had about a 7-9 meter wingspan, and weighed about 20 to 30 pounds(10-15 kg)
THAT would be an awesome catch.
Is February throwing Zeus’ lightning at the guy in the Star Trek uniform blouse?
