@ Mitch4 – Yes, they exist. They generally serve just as a charging stand, but I have also seen versions that offered loudspeakers. I haven’t used one since a dead battery forced me to abandon my old iPhone 3. The next model had the same connector, but a different case shape, so it did not fit.
My assumptions were that 1) this is a made-up app [so far]; and 2) it was just a lead-in to Walter’s [funny] line.

I know what a dock is for like a laptop, but not if that’s what Walt has in mind, or how he would think it relevant.
Are there equivalent setups for phones? More than just a charging stand?
