@ MiB – I went looking for a comic containing B.C.’s snake, who is normally drawn the same way. I wasn’t able to find a usable link, but the search turned up this Frazz (31-Jan-2011), which I find even more appropriate: LikeLike

This snakes has rings at both ends: the usual ones for warning and the unusual one for an unusual reason. LikeLike
