   I thought the two women in the photo were the same person, and that the montage was part of the joke. Mason’s “merger” of characteristics is a laudable twist.

   @Powers I’ve seen this image for a long time (several years now?), but only discovered the entire series of photos recently. They get very dark.

   I think this is a: “What do you mean you don’t get it? It’s X”. “But that’s not funny.” “Of course it is because … oh, you’re right it’s not funny”.

   Rodney is with a pretty girl but he’s ogling an ugly girl because the ugly girl looks like him. It’s funny because his standards of beauty are different because he is ugly.

   — But that’s not funny. Are people supposed to be attracted to people who look like themselves? Why would we assume that?

   Yeah, but Rodney is…. oh, you’re right. It’s not funny.

   Well, I’ll admit that I am attracted to large women who wear eyeglasses. But muttonchop whiskers, not so much.
