I guess it’s just the old Modern But Indirect and not physically actual trends in life supplanting Actual and physical reality and the people of the modern world not knowing or not caring about the difference. Perfume makes you attractive, Instagram filters make you atractive so…. the doctor says x-rays showed a broken bone but they fixed it with photoshop…. parents go out for the evening but the babysitter watches them on television… “Hello, my baby” is about a romance over a telephone line… they’re all the same joke really….
I like that the artist went with a specific typeface for the lettering on the wall. It looks like something you would find in such a store.
Every time I see the regular character on the left, I am struck by the incredible ugliness of her haircut. It looks like a motorcycle helmet designed for Cleopatra.
