beconingchasm – I disagree…that’s a ‘mugging for the camera’ look to my eye. Death brought the audience along to watch him work, and this is a ‘get a load of this guy’ look.

The little kid’s having a brush with death, but clearly isn’t dead. Maybe he goes on to a long and happy life.
