Seriously, what is it with comic strips featuring Death lately? It’s not just one or two strips: this seems to be a trend across the entire “comics page.”
Maybe all these artists are hitting Middle Age at the same time?
Some sense of foreboding in the air?
The artists have all joined a book club and they’re passing around Neil Gaiman graphic novels?

Okay, so somewhere around Panel 3 bowling seems to have become a metaphor for sex, but then Arlo’s Panel 4 comment seems to confuse the issue.
Presumably this is somehow related to the canard that lemmings follow one another off cliffs…
Did she skip a few grades in her sleep?
And how awkward is her transition to middle school going to be since she still looks like she’s 7 years old?
And is Dean going to really be her boyfriend now?
Okay, just a thought here… if you can’t tell whether what’s inside your sandwich is cold cuts or peanut butter, do not eat it.
