Peter and the Wolf, Little Red Riding Hood, and The Three Little Pigs are all traditional children’s stories with wolf adversaries. The proposal is for a class action against wolves, or against the particular wolf if it is the same one every time.

    Usual John got it.
‘Little Red Riding Hood’ wasn’t instantly identifiable for me, since it’s a black and white cartoon, and she’s not supposed to be ‘Little Monochrome Riding Hood’. No room for the ‘basket of goodies’ with the pigs in the way.

Walt Disney released a sequel to his enormously popular Silly Symphony “The Three Little Pigs”, “The Big Bad Wolf”, that made clear the same wolf that antagonized the Pigs also is the one who tries to eat Little Red Riding Hood.

This is the first I’ve heard about Peter’s adversary being possibly related, though.

I think this is the prequel to Peter’s encounter with the wolf: Miss Hood & The Pigs are hiring Peter to do a hit on The Wolf.

My question is whether Peter then went on to use Donald or Daffy as bait?

“Peter and the Wolf” was written by Sergei Prokofiev (both the music and the story) and takes place in Russia. It premiered in Moscow, but the U.S. premiere with Prokofiev conducting the Boston Symphony was much more successful. Prokofiev paid a visit to Walt Disney in Los Angeles, and as they say, the rest is history.

There might be some difficulty getting a class action suit going, as Peter would bring suit in Russia, and wherever Red and the Pigs live, it’s probably not Russia. It’s probably not the same wolf, being as Peter sent his wolf to the zoo.

It worked, but I find it strange that I have to comment in order to show my appreciation of someone else’s comment.

Further to MiB’s comment, I’ve always assumed that LLRH dwelt in Germany’s Black Forest. As for the Three Little Pigs, it’s anybody’s guess, but mine is “somewhere west of Dogpatch”.
