It’s a poetic metaphor for the office water cooler. A pretty common one, if you go back a few decades.

I thought maybe the guy in gray was supposed to be someone we should recognize, but no luck here.
I think it means that we are all just beasts struggling to survive in the corporate savanna. The elephant and zebra aren’t threats to each other as these guys aren’t. But the hyenas and jackals are never far away. Nice metaphor. And accurate.
I thought the corner bar was “the old watering hole.”
