The Sunday Punnies! (Um, on a following Saturday here.)
Is this one trying to say ”The Divine Comedy”? (Accidental reprinting)

I quite like the Matadoorman!
I got a kick out of the revised Dante. Check out today’s (Saturday’s) Arctic Circle.
I’m still stuck on the idea that someone would pay $50 for a slip.
Here is the one Boise Ed was referencing:
Chak, but you would only buy it without full focus or intention.
@ Chak (3) – Of all the reasons that a sane woman would not want to buy that slip, the price is definitely not at the top of the list. The picture would be a major buzzkill when undressing, most guys would start thinking about their mothers.
At least the slip isn’t pink.
In the top picture – nice looking gown or jacket (can’t tell which as she is seated) with a good set of stays under it and a nice ruffle showing on her shift and also out of her her gown/jacket sleeves (shift is basic undergarment for women sort of like an A line dress). Nice dressy cap also.
If only my sewing skills were good enough for me to have a nice outfit like that instead of my work outfits – plain jacket and petticoat (skirt) and plain white shift underneath – with no ruffles. My stays are also dark – blue – and I had to have them custom made as I could not deal with making same, but I did make 2 sets of very nice breeches and coat (suit jacket) and shirts for husband to wear – with purchased shirts and thigh high stockings (for both of us).
I’ve been reading a blog from RefashionedHippie, and the stuff she posts is ridiculous. That slip might be offered for $1500, and be sold out. One of her slogans is “Eat the rich”.
What or where is this slip everyone keeps talking about??
@ larK – The slip has gone AWOL. I’m pretty sure that Chak was referring to an image within this post, but since it has not been edited in the past four months, it can’t have been due to an intentional editorial intervention, and if WordPress had deleted it, then they would have left an annoying footprint, just like they did with their Far Side bullying. It would appear that the slip image (or the link to it) simply went defective.
