@ Powers – I think “retro” is an acknowledgement that all of these panels have been posted at CIDU at one time or another. The detail that IDU is why “Rock Gods” (from March) should be less “retro” than the “Literary Terms“, which appeared here in May. :-)
P.S. @ Anonymous Editor – All in fun, of course. Even though I don’t follow it, Wrong Hands is a pretty good webcomic, and using CIDU as a selection filter is an excellent way to concentrate on the best examples.
For those who don’t ordinarily see the Random Comments and Site Comments threads, a quick mention in today’s post’s thread that the editors and advisors are aware of a few changes in the site’s appearance or presentation, some intentional (numbered comments) and some very not (replacement of post Author’s username by weird “[1]” link). (But then again, sometimes it was hard to resist adding in a newer one that came along independently, or even one we had seen and discussed here.)
As far as I know, “irony” is the correct word for describing something that is in some way similar to iron. “By the light of the silvery moon, I found an irony coin in the grass.”
I did not remember either of the “Novel Merch” sets, but when I looked to see whether they had already been posted here, I also discovered Part 3:
