… and has two of those bubbles above his own beak. It’s also a little odd that the man is using a brush, but the bird is using a quill pen (presumably made from one of its own feathers). Not exactly the best instrument for painting.
I’m also confused about why they look disheveled, but otherwise it was a LOL for me.
The dots seem to imply that the guy is drunk or dazed. Maybe he’s imagining the painter duck, reminiscent of this?
If those are drunkenness bubbles, the cattail plants on the right are also drunk.
Putting glasses on the duck was a nice touch.
@ Chak – That’s a different way of looking at it. I thought that those were supposed to be “angry eyes”.
Every person or animal that ever appears in “cornered” wears glasses.
