The green area shows some “shininess marks” that make me think it’s supposed to be ice or snow.
And in the last panel one of those marks seems to be a partial reflection of the house above it, making me inclined to think that the green area is supposed to be a frozen lake.
I at least understand the colorist’s mistake… the panel previous, he’s jumping over a fence. Fences have either yards or farms on at least one side of them.
I think it’s a coloring error – its supposed to be a frozen river.
When pushed down the hill, the guy let loose a torrent of fear urine. It flowed downhill and froze and he landed on it. No way it could be a colouring error.
I’d just like to know when the error was made. The copyright says 1993, but the inkwork – including the hand lettering – looks older than that.
I thought that the hill was so large that when he landed it was where there was no snow.
