I had this feeling that there might be a “mango”-“fandango” connection, but was not aware that the first line was a direct quote, and the rest just didn’t scan well enough to match.
When was it that that guy Scaramucci came and went? During his flash, this lyric was trotted out a bit. (But I don’t think there was a mango connection.)
I was always disappointed that everyone went for the low-hanging fruit of Bohemian Rhapsody during Scaramucci’s brief time in the spotlight. Nobody ever went for a Minnie the Moocher reference. (Which I can never think of without hearing Stephen Fry deadpanning, “Hi de. Hi de. Ho… sir.”)
I read this thread earlier today, and was reminded of it when I just now heard the above-mentioned part of “Bohemian Rhapsody” played on the organ at the Boston Bruins/Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game.
I was at a minor-league baseball game not long ago. The stadium A/V team was AMAZINGLY repetitive in the sound-bites they had available. The same 3-second sound effects and 30-second sound snippets, plus ads for every strikeout, walk, pitching change, etc.
I like the crow one – that’s a lovely horrible pun. I have no idea what’s going on with the mango thing. Is it song lyrics?

Very specifically: ‘I see a little silhouetto of a man/Scaramouch, Scaramouch/will you do the fandango?’

P.S. Initially not being able to make the text work as lyrics, the reference to the fruit led my twisted mind to make a connection to this.

Mitch4 @ 5: I first saw this shirt (on the Internet) very early
January 2016. Scaramucci was around then, but his main fame at
least a year later.
