I think Harry and David is in Oregon and maybe better known if you’re from that area. My wife grew up in Oregon and Washington and we get Harry and David gifts from her family every year.
Although since we always get pears (and maybe some other fruit), I would never think of a H&D basket with bagels in it. But I checked and they do ship bagels as well.
While I know Harry & David, but have no idea who Larry David is…didn’t need it much for the joke, though.
