Death must be asking “What do you think happens after you die?” and whatever answer the victim gives from the range of regular answers – Judgement Day and heaven or hell, Omega Point transcendent unity, regular reincarnation, complete oblivion or waking up to find life was all a dream or a computer simulation, etc – is wrong. No one Death has so far taken throughout eternity has ever figured out in advance what comes after life.
I don’t quite understand the setup of Baldo. Gracie is pretty obviously costumed as a cat. Why would the woman be unable to identify her costume? And how could Gracie be sure that people would be unable to identify her costume in order to set up the joke?
It’s hard to buy that the woman would reach into Gracie’s bag and snatch the seven pieces that she had tossed in there.
