Usual John sends this in. “Curtis is supposed to be eleven, and Michelle presumably is about the same age. Catwoman. Wonder Woman, and Tinker Bell all seem like plausible costume choices for a eleven-year-old girl, even if we might think of them as having more adult physiques. Since Curtis usually is wild to get Michelle to go out with him, I don’t see why he would be turning down this opportunity.”

They are all strong women/fairy. Curtis feels threatened by her choices.
Tinkerbell thought that Wendy was intruding on her relationship with Peter, which she sort of was, but Peter was kind of oblivious to what Tink thought was going on. But the Michelle / Curtis / Chutney triangle does not match up to the Tink / Peter / Wendy triangle very well. Michelle as Tinkerbell? Michelle would be very happy if Chutney made off with Curtis.
Curtis meant “Would you like to go to a costume party with me?”, but he left the “with me” out, so Michelle starts thinking about the generic idea of costume parties, which she likes. But I don’t get why Curtis then gives up. Ask a follow-up, dude!
