The Fancy New Apartment complex has a fitness center. To placate my doctor, I have been doing a half-hour walk on the treadmill most days. Some days I see a guy who appears to pretending to exercise. He often gets on the “big” treadmill, cranks the speed up, then will chug along on it for 30-40 seconds or son. Then he hops off onto the side area, while the belt zips along, and plays on his phone for a few minutes. Repeat several times.
Other times he will be on the recumbent bike machine, reading something, while he slowly turns the pedals. I actually mean to give that a try some time, as looks a lot more comfortable than a regular bike, which hurts my butt.
