Boise Ed sent this one in. Apparently the drone operator has stolen some appliance from his neighbor, probably a coffee machine.

.
But why? What’s the story line here? The drone operator already has coffee. It seems more cruel than funny, especially on a Monday morning.
I would guess that since we are explicitly shown that the operator has coffee, cruelty is the goal.
Looks like he is wearing virtual reality glasses. He thinks he’s playing a game, but he’s actually controlling a drone that steals his neighbor’s coffeepot.
He already has some coffee, but he’s an addict, and thinks that he needs more.
VR glasses? Or a headset to see what the drone sees? I’m unfamiliar both with using a drone or using VR, so I’m at sea here.
@ zbicyclist (4) – In this case it’s definitely a drone headset, but I am sure that any halfway decent set of VR glasses would be easy to pair up with a good drone. The technology needed is almost exactly the same.
Could he be making a delivery?
@ Downpuppy (6) – The fiendish grin seems to make it unlikely that he’s doing anything nice. Besides that, the angle as which the machine is handing from the drone indicates that it is flying away from that window, not toward it, and the lady in the window looks like she just lost a fight.
Yes, the whole thing seems to be for cruelty. Not funny.
From the angle of the drone/coffee maker, it looks more like it’s bringing it to the neighbor, rather than taking it.
Brian (9): I disagree on the angle and I think the motion lines indicate that it’s going away – but the cord is a dead giveaway. It’s dangling behind as the drone leaves.
That said, I don’t think it’s especially funny but could be okay with a good framing device.
