Feets Don’t Fail Me Now!

There are ten pairs of cartoon feet in this Sunday “Ink Pen” strip from 2010:

Unfortunately, the author didn’t bother to make any of the dialog “characteristic”, which might have helped to identify each figure. I have a positive ID for only five and a half of them. Can anyone match all ten (unseen) talking heads to their correct feet?

P.S. Bonus assignment: Provide an unmistakable (but very short) quote for each character.

    I have eight or nine:

Panel 1: Mickey Mouse, Lisa Simpson

Panel 2: Big Bird, Bender (“Futurama”)

Panel 3: B.C. (or another character from that comic strip), Aquaman

    Panel 4: Woody Woodpecker, ????

    Panel 5: Fred Flintstone, Spider-Man

Thanks to Joshua @1&2, that went even faster than I had expected. My list was missing Big Bird, Aquaman, Woody Woodpecker, and I knew that my guess of “Daisy” was wrong, but I didn’t know which duck wore spats.

P.S. I docked myself an additional half point for B.C.: although he is certainly the most probable character from the strip, Peter and Curls would be equally good possibilities. (Thor would be on a wheel, Clumsy Carp would be dripping and or tripping, and Wiley has a peg-leg.)

I got them all very quickly, maybe I’m just a big comics nerd?

Only Mickey (“Hiya, pal!”) and Fred (“Yabba Dabba Doo!”) really have iconic utterances that would fit in this context. Spiderman is known for what his Uncle Ben told him but it doesn’t really fit the context, and he never really says it out loud himself. Woody’s iconic laugh doesn’t render well in text. Scrooge has a pronounced Glaswegian accent but not really much in the way of catchphrases; nothing short enough for this context, at least.

Best stab at it: Mickey Mouse, Lisa Simpson, Big Bird, Bender, one of the B.C. characters whose name escapes me, no idea, Woody Woodpecker, Darkwing Duck, Fred Flintstone, and a ballet dancer wearing Spider-Man tights. I’ll decline to provide quotes for the sake of time.

I wasn’t sure if Aguaman had calf fins (he does), but of course he’s just Aguaman, so who cares?

Aguaman is the Gunga Din of the Justice League. Aquaman just hangs around when none of his relatives are doing coups.

There is a musical comedy titled A Day in Hollywood / A Night in the Ukraine, which has a number called “Famous Feet.” It is essentially the same as this strip, but with human feet. I remember not recognizing many of them, but the ruby slippers were pretty obvious.

First: my try without looking at other people’s answers: Mickey Mouse, Lisa Simpson, Big Bird, don’t know the robot, BC character, no clue, could be Foghorn Leghorn?, Scrooge McDuck, Fred Flintstone, Spiderman.

Next: I go back and check what the rest of you thought!

Powers (4): I’d say “maybe I’m just a big comics nerd?” doesn’t differentiate you in this crowd.

“Bite my shiny metal @$$.” – Bender Bending Rodriguez.

Not sure if the word list would catch the term for either buttocks or donkey.
