   How are “We are never ever ever getting back together” and “I will survive” not at the same value on the “Do you like me” scale?

   I do agree. But I think of most of “I will survive” as told from her point of view before he came back (even though it’s sung afterward). While “We are…” seems more about what’s going on now. So I get the different placements.

   But still well critiqued.

   Skylar Grey had a song, “Back From the Dead” that was somewhat similar to “I Will Survive” but perhaps more ambivalent about the return.
