Guero sends this one in. “Brad Guigar publishes the (possibly NSFW) web comic Evil-Inc and occasionally pauses the story, posting one panel comics as filler. This is the current comic, and although I am pretty sure it has to do with some icon on some social media, I have no idea what any of it means. I’m sure one of the CIDUers can help. “
For someone, this will be an easy one to explain. Enlighten us!

That’s the “retweet” or “repost” icon on Twitter/X. Basically all the other dogs are saying “Yes, this!”
It’s boost on mastodon too, and embarrassingly reblog right here on WordPress.
And, specifically, in green it means that they’ve already reblogged (on Tumblr, at least).
Makes me think of the old story of the lazy rooster who would never crow in the morning, but instead would wait for some other rooster to crow and then nod his head in agreement.
Thanks, gang. I knew I could count on you. As an interesting aside, the three “related” comics under the main entry are all about Brad from the Luann comic strip. Is that just because of Brad Guigar’s mention in the text?
Oh, I bet that’s it!
That’s one I would not have gotten, as I’m not a twitter user. I occasionally read posts there or similar sites if public, but I have no accounts. The bulk of my social media is GoComics comments, a bit of YouTube comments, here, and remnant usenet postings on rec.arts.sf.written.
I use Mastodon, but the “Boost” icon is just different enough that I didn’t perceive it as the same. (The arrows in the Mastodon web client touch each other.)
