Because… comic strip ideas are depicted by light bulbs??

Something to do with a person getting an idea, with a light bulb appearing over their head?
Oops, didn’t see CIDU Bill’s note.
Anyway, reminds me of an old BC strip, where a light bulb appears over Thor’s head. He says, “I just had an idea!”
BC: “What was it?”
Thor: “I don’t know–a light blinded me!”
The light bulb lit up over the artist’s head when he thought of this idea. But he should check the wiring. There’s a short circuit somewhere.
So… am I alone in thinking that not only is that it, but that it is an absolutely brilliant joke?
We really do need a “Yes, that’s all it is” tag
Woozy: I think Blazek’s with you.
Philip (and CIDU Bill):
You’d have to be pretty well lit to come up with a joke like this.
If it’s a CFL you figure there’s something twisted about the idea.
