I don’t know who Mary was supposed to be showing the baby to in the original (two of the Three Magi?). I find the retitling rather amusing – it does look exactly (aside from the baby glowing) like a proud parent showing off a new baby (to the grandparents, sure, why not). And all old people live in Florida, didn’t you know?
Shepherds. Seems to be a fave theme of his, along with bare bosoms (trying to appeal to everyone, I s’pose).
If you look at the baby as a light source, doesn’t it look like grandpa is trying to warm his hands?
And all old people live in Florida, didn’t you know?
Well, they’re Jewish.
Ok, referencing a discussion elsewhere. I just posted a message. The message above that I posted took about three minutes or so to appear. CIDU Bill, did that go to moderation?
Simeon and Anna from Luke 2
I was wrong; it’s not Simeon and Anna but more shepherds.

Hey, what did the King of Orient Are say to the Baby Jesus?
“Here, kid, this is your Christmas present AND your birthday present.”
(Well, my friend who was born on December 25 thought it was funny.)
