Iris’s surname is no doubt Lens and the family has a cat: Aract. Iris’s twin sister Thea ducked out of school though. Oy, etc.
Thea Lens? Is that a pun?
I think CIDU needs a tag for “not even quite a pun, just some vague connection between two words that a cartoonist on deadline thought might pass for a joke.”
Well, Phil, that often IS what a CIDU turns out to be.
