    The kid looks like he’s heard this story a 1000 times.

    Or, the old guy is really proud of finishing his Revell model kit.

    It would seem logical that the “facilities” would be placed at the stern of the ship (much like castles, which often had lofty “outhouses” placed atop the least accessible section of the exterior wall). I was disappointed to learn that the word is actually related to a French and/or Latin root word for “stern“.

    I used to think it was where the dogs on board were taken for walks. Hey, when one is as obsessed as I am with canines, it’s the first thought that comes to mind about many things. Especially p**p.
