This may be the first New Yorker comic I actually laughed out loud at. Oh, wait, it’s the New Yorker, so I should have said, “,..at which I laughed out loud”.
There was an article in the Washington Post by Maura Judkis on Easter Sunday: “Like fine wine and good steak, aging Peeps is an art. But how stale is just right?” P.S. I can’t test the link from here, but I thought the title was worth mentioning, especially because of the delay.
“Is it a pun or something?” Or something. “Peeps” sounds a little like “Apes”. So it’s something. This is The New Yorker so demanding a tight pun is pedestrian.
Fun Fact: I had no idea what Peeps were back in Year One of CIDU: they were referenced in a Doctor Fun panel.
