Here in the UK both garden waste and food waste currently go in the green bin to be taken away and composted. From April food waste will get its own grey bin so the comic could be relevant then. But black bags are only used to collect waste for the black bin for non-recyclable waste so it shouldn’t be in the green bin anyway.
