Of course this is a reference to the belief that if you drop food on the floor and pick it up within five seconds it’s okay to eat. So… if a person’s been dead for less that five seconds, his spirit can go back inside??

I would assume so, it seems the spirit is the one talking. Coincidentally, I was reading a Facebook post with the scenario that ghosts and zombies can come from the same person. The Spirit part rolls their eyes as they watch their physical body stumble around and hunt for brains
