    Yes, really funny!

    One point of clarification to check : I’m assuming the picture up on the office wall is just one of those things you might find at any medical or veterinary office – – not the special magic picture associated with this patient. Is that right?
    (Also a small secondary joke, in that it pretends to provide a helpful illustration of where to find the skin)

    If it had been the ‘special magical picture’, there’d not’ve been a joke.

    That threw me off and confused me. And, admittedly this is on me, I didn’t notice the wrinkly skin at first. And I thought “the X of Dorian Grey” meant the X was the cause and not a by product so I thoought the chart was of importance.

    It was funny once I got it though.

    Yes, many exam rooms will have a chart showing the internal organs of the body. This is a dermatology exam room, though, so it shows the only important organ. A secondary joke, but I found it just as funny as the primary.
