If they’re trying to surf, when they fall off the boards, the surf could be smacking the boards into them, in the manner of a bat hitting a pinata.
But it’s still disconcerting to picture them breaking apart and treats falling out.
I went back a few weeks and yes, they’re in México and yes, the surfboards were smacking ’em.
If we were to focus on the “breaking apart and treats falling out” image, the conversation probably would have worked better assigned to the sharks over in SHERMAN’S LAGOON.
