I know that we’ve seen this joke here before (pre Comicgeddon), but I’m not sure whether it was this rendition from Bizarro (I can’t figure out how old it is).

This cartoon reminds me of a “Far Side” cartoon Gary Larson did way back in 1981:
(In case the link is broken, it’s the one where Old West stagecoach drivers are being held up by a trio of rabbit bandits. One says to the other, “This ain’t gonna look good on our report, Leroy.”)
And Leroy says “Let’s get our story straight: we were held up by the entire James gang, right?”
